Support our Parish

Elevate Your Faith. Strengthen Your Parish.

Support St. John the Baptist Parish with #SupportSJBParish

Your generous contribution will help:

  • Fund essential church renovations and improvements
  • Preserve the beauty, dignity, and functionality of our parish home
  • Support our mission of making Jesus Christ known and loved

When you give to #SupportSJBParish, you are doing more than making a donation—you are investing in the spiritual and physical well-being of our faith community.

St. John the Baptist Parish is undertaking an important stewardship initiative to support vital improvements to our sacred space. These projects may include updating the altar, installing new marble flooring, acquiring a beautiful new tabernacle, and completing other necessary renovations.

Every gift, regardless of size, will help enhance our church’s ability to welcome parishioners, celebrate the sacraments, serve our community, and proclaim the Gospel.

Through faithful stewardship, we joyfully share the blessings God has entrusted to us. Together, we can preserve and strengthen our parish home for today’s community and future generations.

Company or Corporate Donation Matching

Double your donation!

Does your employer offer “Charity Donation Matching”?

Charity donation matching programs help employees support causes they care about. In these programs, employers match the donations made by their employees to eligible non-profits, like Saint John the Baptist Church. For example, if you donate $100, your employer may match that with another $100, doubling your impact.

These programs encourage giving and show that the company cares about social responsibility. They also boost employee morale and loyalty. Plus, they help non-profits meet their funding goals and increase their impact in the community.

To benefit from these programs, ask your employer if they have a matching program. Make sure you understand the rules, like minimum or maximum donation amounts and submission deadlines, to ensure your contributions qualify for matching.

As part of the church community, your support helps us serve others. Enjoy the rewarding experience of sharing the gifts God has given you, and take advantage of these matching programs.

For the parish website, I would simplify this. The current version explains corporate matching well, but it is longer than most visitors will read. Here is a cleaner, warmer version that keeps the important information:

Employer Matching Gifts

Double Your Donation!

Does your employer offer a charitable donation matching program?

Many companies match charitable donations made by their employees to eligible nonprofit organizations, including Saint John the Baptist Church. This is an easy way to make your gift go even further!

For example, if you donate $100 to our parish, your employer may contribute an additional $100—doubling the impact of your gift.

Check with your employer or Human Resources department to find out if your company offers a matching gift program. Be sure to review any eligibility requirements, donation limits, and submission deadlines.

Your generosity helps Saint John the Baptist Church continue its ministries and serve our parish community. Through employer matching, the gifts God has entrusted to you can make an even greater difference.

I especially recommend changing “Company or Corporate Donation Matching” to “Employer Matching Gifts.” It is shorter, more professional, and immediately tells parishioners what the program is.

Diocesan Priest Retirement Fund

We seek your support for the priests who have faithfully served our community over the years. The well-being of our retired priests, who have dedicated their lives to serving others, is in your hands. Your contribution to the Diocesan Priest Retirement Appeal helps provide essential funding for medications, nursing care, and other necessities for these priests, who have been good

shepherds and have fulfilled their commitments to the faithful of the Diocese.

Currently, there are 40 retired priests in the Diocese, alongside 96 others who continue to serve in our parishes and various diocesan roles. Additionally, there are 28 priests approaching retirement age (70 years old) in the next 10 years, with 6 in just the next three years.
