LITURGICAL MINISTRIES

At St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve our parish community by reverently assisting the priest and deacon with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during Sunday and weekday Masses, holy days, and other special liturgies.

At St. John the Baptist, the Art and Environment Ministry invites parishioners with artistic talent, creativity, or decorating experience to help beautify our church. Members prepare and enhance the worship environment throughout the different seasons and celebrations of the liturgical year, creating a welcoming and prayerful space for our parish community

At St. John the Baptist, lectors serve our parish community by reverently and clearly proclaiming the Word of God during Mass and other liturgical celebrations.

St. John the Baptist is blessed with gifted singers and talented instrumentalists who faithfully share their gifts with our parish each week. Our Music Ministry enriches the liturgy through music that glorifies God, strengthens our faith, and encourages the prayerful participation of the congregation.

We are currently seeking additional volunteers of all ages and musical backgrounds. If you enjoy singing or playing an instrument, we invite you to share your gifts and become part of our Music Ministry.

St. John the Baptist is blessed with dedicated and hospitable volunteers, including members of the Knights of Columbus and other parish organizations, who help make our church a welcoming community for parishioners and visitors alike.

Our Hospitality and Usher Ministry serves primarily during weekend Masses. Ministers greet worshippers, distribute worship materials, help guests find available seating, assist with the collection, and coordinate the presentation of the gifts during the Offertory.
