FAST & ABSTINENCE
All Fridays in Lent are days of Abstinence. Those who have reached the age of 14 and above are bound to abstain from meat on Fridays during the Lenten season.
Good Friday is a of Fast and Abstinence from meat. There is a limit of one full meal on these days for everybody between the ages of 18 and 59 inclusive. We are not obligated to fast during weekdays of Lent; however, voluntary acts of self denial are recommended
