Confirmation 2008

"The Confirmation Class of 2008 has started their journey with Faith in Action by participating in the recent Thanksgiving Holiday. Their volunteering service to assist the Knights of Columbus in preparing and sorting the donated canned goods and food were done in numbers this past week. On three different days, Monday Nov 19, Wednesday Nov 21st and Thursday, Nov 22nd numerous candidates stepped up to accept any job assignments given by the KOC representative on hand. Even some parents of the Confirmation Candidates came along to assist and contribute their time and service.

This year the class has 40 candidates and all are eager to learn and accept the challenges set forth to them by the Confirmation Program. On Sunday November 18th at the 12:30 pm mass was the first Confirmation Mass were most of the candidates will participate in some of the ministies of the mass. Please come and support their efforts and drive to discover the meaning of the celebration of the mass. You can see them every 3rd Sunday at 12:30 pm mass of each month up to Jun 2008. Their ministries involves Ushering, Greeters, Readers of the Intercessory Prayers, Choir and some Altar Servers."
